Dear Fellow CBM Members,

As we head into the 2008 deer hunting season, I wanted to provide to you an important update regarding Commemorative Bucks of Michigan.  Some of you may be aware that over the past year, we have been struggling through a structural shake-up and all the upheaval that goes along with reorganizing.  Many of you have been affected by this confusion while waiting for recognition of your services and/or entries.   We have hired a new Records Chairperson to over see our records operations.  We welcome Stacey Jackovich to our organization.

I want to assure everyone that the Board and I have resolved most of these issues and a plan is in place to address the remaining matters.  One of these matters is the 8^th Edition Record Book.  The publisher that we planned to go with fell thru.  In an effort to maintain the standard of quality preserved in our previous Record Books, we feel it is best to temporarily delay the publication of the newest edition.  At this time, we are planning publication for August 2009 and the book will contain the records for 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.   

For those of you, who have already purchased your copies of the 8^th Edition Record Book through our pre-sale efforts, please note that your purchase has been recorded.  You will receive your copy of the book upon publication.  If you have any concerns regarding your pre-sale purchase, please contact us at 1-800-298-2825.   Anyone who has prepaid will be locked in at that price and not be subjected to any price increase.
